Author, Artist, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Dr. of Classical Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbs. Ayurvedic Practitioner, Reiki Master

Hello, I’m Dr. Omileye Achikeobi-Lewis, and I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals to reconnect with their true selves and find their life’s purpose. With years of experience in Clinical Mental Health and Acupuncture clinics across the U.S., I’ve had the privilege of helping people overcome life’s traumas, emotional struggles, intergenerational wounds, and physical imbalances. I’ve also spent years supporting children’s mental wellness in schools, fostering resilience and emotional health among young minds.

One of my greatest areas of focus is on women’s health, particularly exploring the intersection between emotions and physical pain. In my pursuit of deepening my ability to serve, I trained in Classical Chinese Medicine under Master Jeffrey Yuen, a leading Daoist teacher renowned for his wisdom in this field.

As an author and illustrator, I’ve written several books, including A Journey Through Breath (published under my middle name, Ezolaagbo), Beautiful Waters (which highlights the collective connection between cultures), and my Kirkus Starred Award-winning children's book My Heart Flies Open, which I both wrote and illustrated. This book, published by North Atlantic Books and distributed by Penguin Random House, is a tool for guiding young hearts through yoga and mindfulness.

I am also deeply committed to environmental preservation, particularly the traditional concept of water as a sacred, life-giving force. My dedication to this cause led me to be invited to the United Nations, where I was honored to speak about the importance of preserving traditional understandings of water and the profound connections between human health and the Earth's ecosystems. I firmly believe that our individual and collective well-being is intricately tied to the health of our planet, and that the Earth’s rhythms must be honored to restore harmony within ourselves.

I am eager to bring my expertise in trauma-focused and intergenerational trauma healing to communities and women who need it most—where I can continue to learn and grow while contributing to collective healing.
